Masterlist of Games

These are some of the indie/homebrew games I'm playing/have played/will play: Updated 01/04/16
Not all of the links work, most are scheduled to update once a day for the next month, at least.
I plan to replay the games and write a detailed overview while I play, the date on the post will change and I'll also mark the post in question.

review posts

all review posts are a work in  progress, currently just a place holder containing just a brief overview of my opinion, will be expanded on as I go along.
When I say not scary, it means. . . a variety of things really, the atmosphere didn't work for me, I didn't care about the character or something undefined just didn't do it for me, only games marked horror will really have this descriptor.
As I expand on the game, I'll try and give a better reasoning.

03/07/16:

1 900 Gary has been updated, some things have been moved about, a slightly longer review has been wrote.

The Rust and Blood placeholder is unavailable as I write a proper review and work on my playthrough post for it.

So I am still alive!

Ao Oni

Just finished!
Interesting, but I didn't find it very intense. Honestly, I found it a touch on the generic side, but loads of people seem to love it.

Dark Cloud

I finally finished Dark Cloud!
I love the soundtrack, the town building, I enjoyed the dungeon crawling and weapon building. The fishing minigame isn't too bad, and the graphics are pretty good, the 3d overall and small amounts of stylized 2d really work for me.
The translation could use some work, though the simple storyline and characters kept me nicely engaged.
While linear, I would replay it, as I greatly enjoyed it overall.

Games. . .

I've not finished any games yet, but I guesstimate that I am about half way through Dragon Quest VII, and am also partway through Chrono Cross, I also recently bought Kya, the Dark Lineage, so I am definitely halfway through that.
I'm probably playing too many games. . .

Back!

So my keyboard died, which sucked.
So I've been playing playstation 2 games, a little Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry and Dragon Quest VII.
But now, a new keyboard! I can type again!
The on screen keyboard is functional, but a bit awkward.

Games I've played/been plaing

Earthbound, Mother 3(!!!!e!!!!!) and The Legend of Zelda: the Minish Cap.

I love love love Earthbound (Mother 2). Fun and funny and dark and quirky. . .
I also love Mother 3, I am also never playing it again. This game. . . I sobbed, cryed like a baby at the final battle/scenes.
Minish cap I've played before, and I needed something that would not make me cry.

N64 The Legend of Zelda games

I just beat them again.
So much fun!
Though Majora's Mask still makes me sob like a baby.
Alright, to me, Zelda and Link are long lost siblings.
Also, I cannot, for the life of me, believe that Zelda and Sheik are the same person, it's like, she sheds her 'disguise' and suddenly becomes wimpy? Wait what?
I have a whoooole bunch of personal theories about these games I'll one day post, to explain it.

Update

So, what have I been doing instead of posting here and updating the placeholder posts already up?
Gaming of course!
Well, not just gaming, but mostly.
I've been on a bit of a Zelda kick lately.
I have replayed Twilight Princess, (so fun!) and today I started Skyward Sword (!!!!!), which I am enjoying greatly, still have to get used to the controls.
I'll most likely be writing a proper review for the Zelda games I've completed, but first to play them all again!
What do you think of the Zelda series? Do you have a favorite? Which one is your least favored? How many have you played?

Confession Time

I. . . am playing neopets.
Yes, that kids virtual pet and games site.
Neopets
It's fun, no shame really.
I also play Kingdom of Loathing, too.

The Legend of Zelda

Who else love this series? I adore it, I've played a fair few of them, and I love to replay them.
I've yet to beat the first two, though I have beat all the gameboy ones (awakening, seasons, ages, minish), the snes one, the n64 ones and twilight princess.
I've heard about the Phillip's CDi games, but I have yet to play them. . . has anyone ever actually played them or are they only a game urban legend?
My favorite is Majora's Mask.
Which ones have you beaten and which is your favorite?

1 900 Gary

                                                                   1 900 Gary

Made in RpgMaker VXAce
A comedy horror adventure exploration type game.
9 endings

I did not find this scary at all, but I did get a chuckle out of it.
Once you get all the endings, there really isn't any replay value.
Luckily, it is a short and easy game.
Just remember to save immediately after the opening scenes.

\/Call Gary\/

Games I'm currently playing

Not indie games. . .

I beat Act Raiser yesterday and am now switching between Zelda: A Link to the Past, Zelda: the Minish Cap and Chrono Trigger.

All games I've beat before, but I really love them and wanted to replay.
Look for the review posts for them soon!
Would any of the non-existent (please come and visit) visitors like links to play through videos and/or walkthroughs for the games posted?
